Among the activities promoted by the School of Public Administration Sciences located at the University of Calabria, it is certainly da segnalare il corso di alta formazione dedicato alle tematiche sul Gender Mainstreaming, dal titolo ‘Donne, politiche e Amministrazioni’. Il ciclo di lezioni, chiusosi lo scorso 29 giugno con la consegna degli attestati alle partecipanti, si è dimostrato un vero e proprio richiamo per chi, giovane e meno giovane ha voluto approfondire tematiche di genere. In una terra come la nostra, spesso avara e purtroppo vincolata da un immobilismo che mortifica i talenti, il merito e la donna, il corso si è proposto di dotare gli iscritti di nuove consapevolezze. È dalla consapevolezza, infatti, che cresce il desiderio di cambiare le cose e si rafforza la volontà di lottare e farsi valere per le proprie idee. Il confronto costante tra i corsisti e le docenti, da sottolineare la squisita idea di un cast tutto al femminile, ha portato a una maturazione che difficilmente un corso seppur di alta formazione, riesce a fornire. Eppure, nonostante gli applausi e l’entusiasmo non si è respirata la tipica aria da ‘ultimo giorno di scuola’, bensì è prevalso il sentimento comune di non voler lasciare sui banchi ciò che si è appreso, ma di trasportarlo ognuno nella propria quotidianità per migliorare per sé e per chi verrà a seguire. La disparità di genere è trasversale a tutte le attività sebbene, per pregiudizio spesso, ci si focalizzi sul salario o sulle difficoltà di inserimento sul lavoro. The establishment tends to its preservation, as well as natural and as always remind us of the scholars in the field, yet it is itself made up of people! In order for the change can begin the trick is to engage people, give them the knowledge that they are perhaps not, and create critical mass. Beyond the academic goals it is likely that this is one of the main purposes that the trainees have gained and shared in these hours of training.
